Spiritual Journey
Renew, refresh, refocus. Cran-Hill Ranch Executive Director Scott Barger
invites visitors to fill their souls at this unique camp.
“Come experience the stars and the awesomeness of God,” Barger said. “As
life gets busier, we realize how important it is to provide a restful place
where we can each slow down, reconnect and spend quality time with our
families and our creator.”
The hustle-bustle of city life is in sharp contrast to Cran-Hill Ranch where
people of all creeds, races, young and old, singles, families, and
organizations come to sense the wonder of His creation.
Nestled within 250 acres of rolling hills and stately pine forests
(Cranberry Lake in the north and Hillview Lake to its south) is Cran-Hill
Ranch. Horseback riding, three miles of nature trails, youth camp, and 116
RV-camping sites are its key components.
Founded as a church camp in 1968 by Reformed Church in America, the mission
of Cran-Hill Ranch is to transform lives into the image of Christ through
youth camps, family camping, retreats and adventure experience.
A newly constructed, five-cabin facility developed specifically for the less
rugged camper is “Saddle Ridge” located within the quiet, woody depth of
Cran-Hill Ranch – A $2.5 million building complex designed for small and
large groups alike. Open year-round, this retreat and meeting facility
sleeps 32 people per cabin, provides 792 square feet of meeting space,
sleeping quarters, indoor bathroom facilities, fireplace and covered
porches, plus a centrally located outdoor pavilion.
Day Camp/Youth Camp, Ages 5-11
For eight weeks, June through August, more than 1,000 children come each
year to enjoy week-long activities. Optional Cran-Hill Bus transportation is
available with pick-up and drop-off locations at Crossroads Charter Academy
and Eastwood Elementary for its weekly summer day camp program.
From the beach to the climbing tower, from the ropes course to the skate
park, whether one comes for Day Camp or an overnight experience, Cran-Hill
Ranch is chock full of creative, fun-filled experiences. An experienced
staff of college students and seasoned year-round camp veterans offer a safe
summer of adventurous activities.
